Professional Background
I completed my MBBS from MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai, followed by my post-graduation in Surgery at Rajawadi Hospital, Ghatkopar, Mumbai. I subsequently pursued a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurgaon, and a Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy from Sion Hospital, Mumbai.
I have over 8 years of experience as an Assistant Professor and Consultant at Sion Hospital, where I developed extensive experience in general surgery, laparoscopic surgery and advanced endoscopic procedures.
I have also completed a Fellowship in Robotic Surgery conducted by the Association of Robotic Innovative Surgeons (ARIS), in conjunction with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. This has further enhanced my expertise in robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

My philosophy of care revolves around patient well-being, clear communication and personalized treatment. I believe in ensuring that patients understand their condition and treatment options so that they can actively participate in decisions regarding their care.

Clinical Expertise
I specialize in laparoscopic, robotic, gastrointestinal and minimally invasive surgery, along with advanced endoscopic procedures.
My surgical practice includes laparoscopic treatment of gallbladder disease, hernia, appendicitis and colorectal conditions, as well as GI cancer surgery and robotic surgery. My endoscopic practice includes upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP and therapeutic endoscopy, including procedures such as endoscopic biopsy and polypectomy.
I also provide treatment for colorectal and anorectal conditions including piles, anal fissures and fistulas. My broader general surgical practice includes breast lump and thyroid surgery, removal of cysts and lipomas, ear-lobe repair and other minor surgical procedures.
I remain committed to keeping abreast of advances in minimally invasive, endoscopic and robotic surgery and applying appropriate modern techniques to provide effective, safe and patient-focused surgical care.
